Junior Forklift Salesperson

Location: Swansea, South Wales
Job Type: Part Time

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Forklift Salesperson to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in sales within the material handling and forklift industry.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside a Senior Salesperson, receiving hands-on training and mentoring while learning all aspects of the forklift sales process. This role offers a clear pathway for career progression and the opportunity to develop into a fully independent sales professional.

Key Responsibilities

* Work alongside a Senior Salesperson to learn and support the sales process.
* Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
* Assist with forklift sales, short-term hire, long-term rental, and service contract enquiries.
* Attend customer visits, site surveys, and sales meetings with the Senior Salesperson.
* Prepare quotations and follow up on sales leads.
* Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems.
* Support marketing and promotional activities.
* Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Confident and professional telephone manner.
* Self-motivated with a desire to succeed.
* Willingness to learn from experienced sales professionals.
* Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
* Sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
* Knowledge of forklifts or plant equipment is advantageous but full training will be provided.
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Another two machines in the workshop and getting the full refurbishment treatment 🔧💛

These JCB TLT units are currently stripped down and undergoing a complete overhaul — from mechanical checks and hydraulic work to cosmetic improvements. Our team is working through every detail to bring them back to peak condition, ready to return to site performing like new.

It’s always satisfying seeing the transformation from worn to fully refreshed. Stay tuned for the finished result 👀

This fully refurbished JCB is now prepped, polished, and ready for delivery to one of our long-standing customers. It’s always a pleasure to supply equipment to clients who continue to trust us time and time again — we don’t take that lightly.

From workshop to yard, this machine has had the full treatment and is now back to looking and performing at its best. 💪
