Congratulations to Meinir Hughes, Ffion Margetson and Beth Carroll who have recently passed their CELTs Gymnastics Lead Coach award. 🥇

This qualification enables them to coach independently to a high level of skill and also lead and mentor our team of instructors, gymnastic leaders and trainees to become the best they can be, whilst ensuring Neath-Afan delivers a superb program of gymnastics.

We are so incredibly proud and thrilled that our very own gymnast, 14 year old Amelia Hall has been selected to represent the UK at the NGA USA Flip Fest camp in Tenessee in October, accompanied by her personal coach Nicola 🇺🇸✨️

The camp itself is funded, which is fantastic but unfortunately the getting there, staying there and generally keeping her alive while she’s there isn’t! 😂✈️🏨

So we’re looking for a little help to get her across the pond and make this opportunity possible 🙏

Devastating news!
The family home of one of our ex-gymnasts Hali-Rae Morris burnt to the ground last Wednesday.

Everyone is safe thank goodness, but the family have lost everything. The clothes they were wearing is all they have.

Extended family and their community have come to their aid to provide somewhere to stay and some clothes.

They have set up a Just Giving page to help them navigate the immediate future.

Hali is about to head off for university and must start from scratch again.

Her laptop and hence all her gym memories has gone.

Myself and her old team mates can send her photos of her gymnastics life, which is a start.

I'm hoping our Neath-Afan Gym Community can rally together and donate to the Just Giving page to help Hali prepare for university. All help will be greatly appreciated.
