From life-saving surgery to IRONMAN Leeds. ❤️‍🔥

In November 2024, Sandra was the fittest she’s been. But during planned abdominal surgery, the unimaginable happened — two cardiac arrests, major complications and further emergency surgery.

Sandra had a long road back to recovery. She had to rebuild her strength, learn to trust her body again and, most importantly, be patient with the process.

With the support and guidance of Coach Simon-Tri Potential, she gradually rebuilt her fitness and set herself a huge goal: IRONMAN Leeds.

She showed her true grit and dedication during the highs and lows of training, and last weekend, she crossed that finish line. 🏁

This was about so much more than completing an Ironman. It was proof of what can be achieved when resilience, patience and consistency come together.

You can rebuild. You can come back. And sometimes, what once seemed impossible really is possible.

We couldn’t be prouder of you Sandra! 💙

During Swansea 70.3 an athlete wearing my suit had an accident on his bike. Thankfully he and his bike were ok - his suit, not so much.

The day after I got a message from the club letting me know it was the first time he wore it. It was the first time I’d ever thought about ripped suits in races. So I got his number and told him I’d replace it for free.

Triathlon is expensive enough and no one should have to pay to replace suits that become unwearable.

From now on, if any one wearing my suits, club or custom are involved in accident that ruins their kit. I’ll replace it for them 🤝
