Looking forward to the British Champs this weekend and to seeing lots of you there. We will be entering some RKTG teams in the team competition so please comment if you are not wanting or are unable to be included for any reason. The club will pay the fee. THE RESULTS ARE OUT!
Redkite member Diane Dickson paired up with Karen Young to ride in the L2A at Bolnhurst. Karen had kindly lent Diane one of her horses. The horse, having never competed in a TREC event, found it all rather exciting. Despite this they managed to lie in second place overnight after the POR, with 7 points between their score and the leaders. The Sunday morning was again extremely hot and ahead was the MA and PTV. Diane was first to go. The MA proved to be rather exciting as did the start of the PTV, however the horse settled and some respectable scores resulted. Karen and her amazing mount, Boris, did an excellent MA and PTV! The final scores were in! Diane and Karen were delighted to have come in first place in what was a well attended class.
Diane would like to thank Karen Young for the loan of her lovely horse and welcoming her to stay in her lorry!

Red Kite member Diane Dickson met up with her TREC friends Karen Young, Tania Guinness and Karen Atherton to do some self arranged training in Yorkshire. Thanks to Helen Wain they were able to include some of the L4 competition route from earlier in the year. Diane and Tania then headed to Karen Youngs to stay for 3 days until the Bolnhurst TREC event. Due to various issues, Diane was unable to transport her own horse and Karen Young has kindly lent her one of her lovely mounts.
So it’s good luck to all competitors- have a great time!
