This follows an incredible achievement, with 12 Development Centre players recently being successful in progressing on their continued footballing journey into our Advanced Academy.

This is exactly what our Development Centres are designed to do — develop players, build confidence and provide a pathway for those who are ready to take the next step.

We couldn’t be prouder of every one of the 12 players and the progress they have made.

Our Development Centres are all about high-quality coaching, technical development, confidence, creativity and competition, helping young players develop their game in a challenging but enjoyable environment.

With centres in Tenby, Fishguard, Haverfordwest, Pembroke and Narberth, there’s never been a better time to get involved.

As yet another summer draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to look back on what has been our biggest and best summer yet at SSA Pembrokeshire.

It has been an incredible summer, and we want to say a huge thank you to every player, parent and family who has supported SSA Pembrokeshire and helped make this summer so special.

We now cannot wait to get back to our Development Centres in the coming weeks and, of course, begin another huge season for our Elite Academy teams, who will once again compete across South Wales, the UK and Europe.

The summer may be coming to an end, but the journey continues.

U14s | SET Pro Cup

On Wednesday, our U14s made the trip to Solihull to compete in the SET Pro Cup in Birmingham.

A fantastic opportunity for the players to test themselves against some excellent opposition, competing alongside professional academies from across the UK and around the world.

These experiences are invaluable for the players, providing them with the chance to challenge themselves in a different environment, learn from every game and continue their development both individually and as a team.

A great experience for the group and another important step in their footballing journey.

PLAYERS OF THE DAY – DAY 2

Congratulations to Ollie and Carter, who were both awarded Players of the Day on Day 2 of our SSA Technical Development Day.

Both players showed excellent attitude, effort and commitment throughout the session, working hard across every technical practice and demonstrating a real desire to learn and improve.

It was fantastic to see them applying themselves, taking on challenges and setting a great example to the players around them.

A thoroughly deserved recognition for two excellent performances.

SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD – DAY 2

Congratulations to Alfie, who was awarded the Sportsmanship Award on Day 2 of our SSA Technical Development Day.

Alfie showed a fantastic attitude throughout the day, demonstrating respect, encouragement and a positive approach both on and off the ball. It was brilliant to see him supporting those around him and setting a great example to the other players.

A thoroughly deserved award and recognition of the qualities we want to see from every SSA player.

Congratulations to Angus and Isabella, who were awarded our Players of the Day awards following Day 1 of our Technical Development Camp.

Both players showed a fantastic attitude throughout the day, working hard, listening, learning and giving their best in every practice.

A special mention to Angus, who showed great composure to score the winning goal in the final for the 5–7 age group.
