Narberth Chess Club enjoyed outdoor chess and a lively social evening at nearby Landsker Camping last night.
Giant chess, a few games, nice nibbles and beautiful summer sunshine, it was chance for members and their families to meet and enjoy each other’s company.
Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a friendly, memorable evening!

This Thursday, Narberth Knights are looking forward to welcoming Pembrokeshire Chess Club to Grace Court House, Narberth, for an evening of friendly chess. 😃
Whether you’ve never played before, you’re just learning, or you’re an experienced player, everyone is welcome! Come along for some sociable games, meet fellow chess enthusiasts, and enjoy a fun evening.

♟️ A Fantastic First for Narberth Knights! ♟️
We’re incredibly proud to share the success of our very first chess event! 🎉
Nearly 60 players of all ages joined us for a brilliant Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire vs Carmarthen team competition, representing an amazing 13 different clubs. The atmosphere was competitive, friendly, and exactly what community chess is all about.
👏 Huge congratulations to everyone who took part — whether you won, lost, or drew, you made the event such a special occasion. The standard of play, respect, and enthusiasm on display was fantastic.
As a young and growing club, hosting an event of this scale means a lot to us. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the players, clubs, organisers and supporters who travelled to join us and help make the day such a success.
We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did — and we look forward to meeting you over a chess board again soon!
