Great fun today with our Nairn Golf Club junior flag team playing in the Scottish Golf regional final of the National Flag Championship. Well done guys. A very respectable 4th place finish. Some great shots played and always learning skills on another course. Thanks to Kings Golf Club, Inverness for hosting and having the winning team. Good luck at Gleneagles Hotel in the national final in a couple of weeks.

Sandy Scott was No. 21 on the Points List before a nagging injury caused him to withdraw from the @BMWCharityProAm. After taking four weeks off, he finished T15 at the @UtahChampionship and sits at No. 33 on the Points List with seven events remaining in the season.

Everyone at Nairn Golf Club would like to congratulate Fraser Brown on his selection to represent Scotland at the Boys European Team Championship at Barceló Montecastillo in Spain from 7th–11th July.

This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to Fraser's hard work and excellent performances. We are incredibly proud to see him representing both Scotland and Nairn Golf Club on the European stage.

Congratulations also go to Fraser MacKenzie, who has been named first reserve for the team—another outstanding achievement.

Well done to our Nairn Golf Club junior golf 6’s and 9’s team at Fort William Golf Club on Saturday. 2nd place for the 6’s and 1st for the 9’s. A very big congratulations to Finlay Wickenden, who equalled the white tee course record with a 9-under, 62 in the second round of Gents Club Championship qualifying.

Finlay followed up his impressive opening round of 66 with 9 birdies and no bogies on route to a 14-under par total.

His score equals Ewan Cuthbert's score shot in the first round of the 2023 Gents Club Championship qualifying.

Well done to pupil and Nairn Golf Club junior team captain Fraser Brown for a great week finishing runner up in a strong field at the Stephen Gallacher Foundation trophy.
