The Tennis Club Championships are happening on the weekend of September 4th, and we’ve got a fantastic lineup both on and off the court:

Friday Night (Sept 4th) | From 6:00 PM: Kick off the tournament weekend with Pizza & Drinks! Come fuel up, socialise, and cheer on the opening matches. 🍕

Saturday (Sept 5th) | From 1:00 PM: Matchday energy continues! We’d love it if members could bring along some home baking to keep everyone energized throughout the afternoon.🍰

Whether you’re playing for the trophy or supporting from the sidelines, come down and join the fun. See you on the courts! 🙌

The next event will be Musselburgh Tennis Club on the 29th August!

The seventh event of the 2026 Team Tennis Tour took place at Joppa Tennis Club this morning and it was ALL doubles with great teamwork on show! 🙏 🎾

🎾 38 8U players making up 19 teams
🎾 9 clubs represented
🎾 36 doubles matches played
🎾 606 points scored

The winners of our four round-robin groups were Joppa TC x2, Edinburgh Tennis and Longniddry Tennis Club.

Fuzzy Wee Ball bonus points were awarded to Marcus H & Gabriel M (Joppa TC), Harrison P (Lomond Park), Celine W (Dunfermline Tennis Club), Ida E (Joppa TC) and Olivia H & Arabelle H (Dunfermline TC).

The next event is planned for the 29th August at Musselburgh Tennis Club (EH21) and entries will open soon via the usual method.

What’s cracking weekend of weather, and perfect conditions for yesterday’s Open Day as part of the yesterday.🎾☀️

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces on the courts and to welcome some potential new members to the club.

The highlight of the day? Colin’s “Fastest Serve” challenge, which was an absolute hit (and definitely tested a few reflexes!). Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper tennis event without some classic strawberries and cream to mark the occasion. 🍓

What a way to wrap up the season! This week marked the final matches of the East of Scotland League, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Gorgeous sunshine, brilliant rallies, and fantastic team spirit all around.

A huge shoutout to everyone who played, supported, and cheered us on throughout the league.

But the tennis doesn’t stop here... up next: Club Championships! 🏆 Time to gear up for some epic MTC battles.

It’s been a tough League season for us all, but despite the losses both the ladies and men’s teams have dug deep and given it all.

As we head into the final week, that same grit and determination will remain, and the passion and love for playing good tennis will remain.

Q2 Memberships are now live !

The ladies teams were lucky to dodge the rains this week with their East of Scotland Matches. A tough fight on Tuesday for the 1st team at home, but despite the loss it was smiles on court. 🙂

The ladies 2nd team secured a 8-4 win away to Edinburgh Sports Club last night and are working hard to keep their spot in 6th Division.

Fingers crossed for sunshine for the final two weeks.
