What an honour for the legend that is Alex Marshall MBE and our sport of bowls.

Alex has been selected by teammates along with Sarah Adlington (Judo) as Team Scotlands flag bearers for the Glasgow 2026 opening ceremony. Alex is Scotlands most successful Commonwealth athlete and he aims to add to his medal tally in the pairs event along with team mate Paul Foster MBE.

Good luck to all bowlers competing on the portable rinks and on our Greengauge woven bowling surface.
Special best wishes to all our Henselite players from all over the Commonwealth and for all of Team Scotland.
