Lothian Disability Badminton Club are having 2 open nights to attract new members. The first one is at Musselburgh Sports Centre on the 1st of September 6.30-7.30pm and the second is on the 9th of September at Bathgate Acadamey 6-8pm. More details below.

An incredible day at the West of Scotland Badminton Championships for 3 of our players from Musselburgh.

With just the three of them representing the club, they all came home with medals — an outstanding achievement and a real testament to their hard work and dedication in training.

Ross struck gold in singles and also battled his way to a fantastic silver in doubles.
Kathryn delivered an amazing performance, winning silver in singles and another silver in doubles.
Rebecca teamed up brilliantly with Kathryn to take silver in the doubles event.

Thanks to all the coaches , officials and volunteers who make these events a possibility.

The Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Fair City Games include a series of Sports events for people with disabilities to get involved in throughout the year - these include Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Boccia, Lawn Bowls, Curling, Table Tennis, SOMA, Wheelchair Basketball and Swimming.

There will be seven sections of the competition.
🏸 A - Open Class for Players who use a wheelchair.
🏸 B - Players with an ambulant Physical Disability - Half Court
🏸 C - Players with an ambulant Physical Disability - Full Court
🏸 D - Open Class for Players with a Learning Disability (please provide player rating) - three Divisions based on player ability.
🏸 E - Open Class for Short Stature Players
