You can barely hear me over Puregyms loud ass voice

But a few cues I gave to Marc here were-

Looking to squeeze all that good “upper back stuff” together

The elbows dipped a bit towards the end but that’s probably just the rear delts getting a bit weaker, if we can avoid that it’d be great, if we can’t then it’s not the end of the world

Also a touch more of a wider grip just to take a bit of the weight off the bi’s, but again that’s me being picky 🫱🏻‍🫲🏿

“ but X Y and Z do deloads”
Ok?
Deloads aren’t worthless, they’re just not gonna CAUSE growth.
They can be great for maybe transitioning phases or just taking a needed mental break.

But the NEED for growth? Nah.

Pretty sure this has been tested in studies too🙏

Swipe for knowledge

Clavicular fly
My form on this is meh, and ideally this is much better with cuffs if you have access to to them (my du***ss left mine at home)

So the best way to do this, is actually totally different from what I’ve done 🤣
These cables aren’t the greatest for the “right” way. (It’s still fine how I done it)

Ideally facing toward the cables, with a 30 degree bench and cuffs doing the exact same arm path will lead to a bit more upper pec gains. Focus on drive the bicep into the collar bone.

Atlantis incline press
Really not much to say on this one…it does the work for you if you just push🤣

I like to use the bottom handles because the arm path lines up better with the direction of the upper pec fibres
If your lucky enough to have this machine at your gym, definitely use it 🙏

Angled smith overhead press

The front delts need shoulder flexion so make sure the smith bar is driving towards you and not away.
I really hope the “no shoulder press because your front delts get worked in chest movements” thing has died.

The team is currently killing it right now, if your done guessing your training then get involved and get sexy.
Link in bio/send over a DM🙏

I look at each part of my phase as the receipt from the phase BEFORE this one.
Example: My cut this year has went well. I’m happy enough with it.

But I also know it could’ve been fu***ng ridiculous if I hadn’t fu**ed the bulk beforehand. For a few months even though I was eating on plan, I was also eating s**t on top of that, I could whip out excuses for it but at the end of the day we control what we eat and do. And I put on a bit more fat than intended.

A s**t bulk makes the cut harder, a s**t cut makes the bulk harder.

Then there’s the coming out of the diet phase that everyone treats like a bulk essentially, the reverse diet.

You spend months getting lean, then the second the diet is “finished” you act like you’ve been released from HMP MyFitnessPal.

You don’t need to be perfect through every phase.
But you should respect every phase enough to execute it as well as you reasonably can.

Bulk properly. Cut properly. Come out of the cut properly.
Because the physique you have 12 months from now isn’t being built in one half arsed 12 week push.
It’s being built by how little of the year you waste fu***ng about.
