With the weather now back to typical Scottish summer temperatures and some rain and wind thrown in for good measure 😩 Now is the time to look forward to indoor volleyball season😀 Lenzie Volleyball Club are looking for new players to help us rebuild the team following the loss of players to injury, work commitments and becoming (soon) a dad! Come along to one of our training sessions 7-9pm on a Monday or Thursday night to see if we are the club for you! We even have a game scheduled on the Monday 7th September against Motherwell Volleyball Invitational at Lenzie Academy so come along and get a sense of the people, the place and see if we can help you on the next step of your volleyball journey . 📣 In a bizarre Scottish Volleyball Scottish Cup 1st Round draw both our Men’s and Women’s teams have been drawn against our friends Gentlemen volleyball club and Panther’s! Both ties will be played at Wishaw Sports Centre on Saturday 26th September. Further details will be released nearer the time but feel free to come and watch our Men’s and Women’s team make their debuts in the Scottish Cup 🏆

Both our Motherwell Teams had a fantastic tournament on Sunday. One reached the Semi Finals and got defeated by eventual winners GOVC and the other reached the Final by winning a Semi Final against a top class Havoc Utd team. Followed by a narrow defeat in the final to GOVC. Well done guys for competing and beating teams with SVL Premier Division players in them 💪🏻 🥈

Winner of Tournament Male MVP was Thijs Claes from Inverness volleyball Thijs was received 6 x MVP Votes from a possible 7! Congratulations Thijs and fully deserved 🏆

Winner of Tournament Female MVP was Patrycja Trott who was outstanding today receiving 6 x MVP Votes from a possible 7! Congratulations Patrycja and fully deserved 🏆

The winners of The MVI Plate Final is Hit Happens who defeated Inverness volleyball in a brilliant final! Congratulations 🥇

Here we have the winners of the MVI Trophy Final GOVC & Friends who ran out 2-0 winners in the Final against one of our own Motherwell teams in what was a very closely contested Final 🏆 Well done to GOVC 🥇

We are ready to host our 3rd Summer Tournament at the our Home Venue Ravenscraig 🙌 14 x Teams from all over Scotland will be in attendance tomorrow competing for 🏆 We look forward to welcoming everyone and remember Team Captains briefing is 08:15 with a FBS 08:30 🏐 If spectators wish to attend feel free as everyone is welcome.
