📢 Scottish Low Paid Women’s Forum – Join Us!
The next meeting of the Scottish Low Paid Women’s Forum takes place on Tuesday 28 July at 7pm.
Thank you to everyone who completed our recent survey. Key concerns raised included pay, being undervalued, food poverty, the cost of living, and violence/aggression at work.
At this meeting, we’ll discuss how low-paid women members can influence UNISON decisions on issues such as pay and how to make your voice heard. We’ll also hear about an exciting new Welfare Rights Handbook project and opportunities to get involved.

3 things we’ve learned this week:
1️⃣ Scotland’s NHS and care services depend on migrant workers. They deserve security, dignity and a future.
2️⃣ More than 9 in 10 council workers are struggling with the cost of living. COSLA must keep the promise and deliver £15 an hour.
3️⃣ Lawrence Shankland should start for Scotland. Obviously.
