We have two teams on the road this weekend and all travelling support is welcome as the 1xv take on Carrick and our u18s take on Greenock🏉

With a strong start to the league against Strathendrick last weekend our 1xv look to continue to build on this, our U18s are kicking off their league campaign after a fantastic win against Hamilton last Friday🖤

A special day on and off the pitch. Our youth players formed a brilliant guard of honour as the senior squad ran out, led by Logan Blair on the bagpipes and Captain Daniel Bartlett with mascot Matthew Moug.

The team delivered a strong performance to secure a 15–5 victory in our first league game of the season. Graft, physicality, and some cracking moments captured perfectly by AWS Sports Photography.

🏉 Meet Matthew Moug — our first mascot of the season!
At just 8 years old, Matthew’s already a proud Dalziel Dragon, having joined the Dinky Dragons when he was only 3. His favourite player? Daniel Bartlett, of course!💙

We are celebrating the heart of our club our youth. Each home game will feature a mascot from one of our Dalziel youth teams, reminding us that rugby here is more than a sport it’s a family.

The wait is over our Dalziel U18s return to the pitch this Friday night at Dalziel Park for a 7:30pm kickoff in a pre season game against Hamilton RFC!

Led by captain Finlay McGowan, this squad is packed with homegrown talent and new faces ready to make their mark.
