Are you getting caught up on the number on scale?
In the photo on the left I weighed 57kg and in the photo on the right is me currently weighing 57.1kg š¤©
So whatās the difference then? The difference is my body fat percentage, Iāve lost body fat over the time however Iāve gained muscle mass
So the moral of the story is the number on the scale isnāt the be all and end all, it isnāt the only way to measure your progress there is so much more to it

Going to the gym isnāt all about going so that you get the perfect body itās a lot more than that.
Itās a place where you can go to clear your mind but also challenge your mental strength at the same time to push through those hard sets.
Itās a place where you can learn self discipline.
Itās a way to improve your overall health and well-being.
Itās so much more than trying to get that perfect physical body

HOW IMPORTANT IS SLEEP
If your goal is fat loss sleep is important to you as a lack of it will affect your hormones which will affect your appetite making you more likely to want to snack particularly on less nutritious foods. The lack of sleep can also slow down your metabolism particularly when it comes to processing the sugar youāre potentially snacking on throughout the day.
If your goal is to build muscle sleep is important for recovery and repair. As you go into a deeper sleep your muscles will have an increase in blood flow meaning they are receiving more oxygen and nutrients that are needed to help repair and recover your muscles while regenerating cells.
So remember sleep is just as important as your training and nutrition so you should be aiming for 7-9 hours of sleep each night.

Look at this amazing progress š¤©
6 months of hard work that all started while in a lockdown.
The majority of the weight lost here was during the lockdown but by eating properly and getting out lots of walks the progress was amazing as you can see from these photos.
This goes to show how simple changes can make the difference and doesnāt always require long hours in a gym but just a bit of commitment and constituency.
So proud of progress and with the gyms being open now weāre looking at gaining more muscle š„
