POPPY LEWIS 🐶 ❤️ 2010-2026
It is with great sadness that today we had to say goodbye to our best friend and family companion Poppy Lewis.
We saved her from being left tied to a fence post on a valleys mountain alone and scared. But in all honesty I think she actually saved us on multiple occasions.
Today was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
She passed away peacefully with a belly full of treats and surrounded by those that loved her!!
May you always be chasing them birds and bouncing through the corn fields with them silly spaniel ears.
Say hello to Janus and Jodie when you see them up there.
You will always be in our hearts as well as everyone you ever met. Even last night on your final walk people were coming up and saying how amazing you were.
Sleep well my old friend.

Another fab day open boating my favourite rapid in the national park.

A day of Exploring some of Swedens Forests. Saw some deer, elk and mink. I do love this place. Roll on retirement plan.

A great evening catching up with old instructors from a bygone age from literally the other side of the world. Let’s not leave it ten years next time. Flying Edale visit to our favourite pub.

First post of the year and it’s Feb already. Nice to get out on the new steed for a blast round my local woods.

A great few days under ground with for our Vertical Cave Leader. Awesome to play in some holes I not been in for over 25years too.

Revisiting my fav hangover cafe in the peaks this morning before two days of vertical caving.

Been a little while for the Bear and the Bandit. Nice little outing to the coast today.
