From North Wales to the National Stage!

We’re delighted to share that, following our success at last year’s West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce Awards, where we were proud to win the 2025 Sustainability Award, P&A has now been nominated for the British Chambers of Commerce Green Innovation Award.

The nomination recognises our ongoing commitment to sustainability, circular economy principles and responsible business. This includes our B Corp UK certification, pallet repair and recycling operations, closed-loop customer programmes, renewable energy generation, biomass heating and our ongoing tree-planting programme, helping us to invest back into the environment and support the long-term sustainability of our timber-based business.

We’re incredibly proud to have been selected by the North Wales & West Cheshire Chamber to represent the region at the national awards.

Fingers crossed for the national awards later this year!

We're proud to announce that P&A has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, reinforcing our commitment to supporting those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces.

Last week, our colleague Rhys Hughes, P&A Group Director, attended an Employer Reception and escorted visit to the Tri-Service Military Village at the Royal Welsh Show, gaining valuable insight into the Armed Forces community and the opportunities for employers to make a difference.

Saturday saw Team P&A take on one of the most ambitious fundraising challenges in our history - the P&A Coast Path Relay, supporting our 2026 Charities of the Year: Tenovus Cancer Care / Gofal Canser Tenovus and North Wales Wildlife Trust.

Starting at Conwy Quay before 5am and finishing in Saltney after 9pm, colleagues covered an incredible 53+ miles along the North Wales coast. From sand dunes and promenades to beaches and the iconic Talacre Lighthouse, the day tested endurance, teamwork and determination in equal measure.

Along the way, colleagues were joined by charity partners, volunteers, family members and supporters who helped keep spirits high and legs moving.

By the end of the day, the team had already raised approximately £1,500 (and rising) for two incredible causes.

A huge thank you to everyone who walked, supported, donated, organised logistics and cheered the team on throughout the day.

This Saturday, Team P&A will set off from Conwy on what we hope will be a successful fundraising event.

Covering more than 50 miles, the challenge will see colleagues, friends and supporters come together to complete relay legs across the North Wales coastline in support of our 2026 Charities of the Year:

Our target is to raise £5,000 from this event alone, and every donation, no matter the size, will help us get there.

We're also delighted that representatives and volunteers from Tenovus Cancer Care will be joining us on the day, making the connection between our fundraising efforts and the people we are supporting even more meaningful.
