Simulated practice:
When you practise today, pick one shot you remember from the golf course—a full swing, pitch, chip, bunker shot or putt—and recreate it on the practice ground. Picture the situation, target and shot, and most importantly remember how it felt.
Practising with that same feeling brings the brain and nervous system into the exercise, rather than simply hitting balls.
Recreate the shot, go through your routine, hit it, assess the result and then repeat or move on to another remembered shot.
Practise golf shots, not just golf swings.
