The official Public Page of Milton Cricket Club. Situated just north of Cambridge, we are a friendly and competitive club with 3 saturday teams.

Situated just north of Cambridge, we are an easily accessible club. We are based at The Sycamores recreational ground in Milton which boasts excellent facilities including a club pavilion, three outdoor cricket nets, 10 pitch square and bowling machine. We are currently fielding the following teams:
- Three Saturday teams playing at various standards in the Cambridgeshire leagues.
- Milton beehive Sunday team who play a number of friendlies against local opposition.
- Milton Lambs that play in a local midweek league.
- Under 13's colts side

Well well well, not only were our 3 Saturday league sides promoted but we finished 2nd in the midweek Cambridge Business House Div 3 securing promotion, making it a clean sweep of promotions.

The 3rds are promoted too! Yep, you read that right!

A fantastic season for Milton 3rds sees them finish 2nd in Junior League 5 North and secure promotion to Junior 4!

The 3s finish the summer with 10 wins from 14 games with contributions throughout! More of this to come!

And congrats to Cambridge St Giles who took the title. Winning the league with a side featuring so many juniors is a brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved.

While our 1sts were promoted to senior one for the first time in thirty years, our second team won the league!

Here's a mock up of what the shield could look like, but with so many more contributions from others not pictured!

The team played 16 matches in the league, winning ten, tying one and one abandoned due to weather! What a performance.

What a team!

For the first time in thirty years Milton will play in senior one! Captain Pradeep Gowda takes the Milton 1st XI up at the first time of asking.

Some great performances all round this year! And we'll celebrate them all here over the next few weeks!

What a knock from John Xavier in the 1sts 43 run win against Cambourne

It's his first century but fourth score above fifty this season!

It helped see the 1sts to promotion into senior 1!

Club legend Chris Day aka Daisy hit his maiden Milton hundred this weekend in the fixture against Ramsey at North Lodge Park!

His 108 came off 110 balls. Batting for 162 minutes, he saw 13 fours, one six and had a strike rate of 98!

He shared a 185 run partnership with Sam Anton for the first wicket!

Milton 3rds finished the innings on 278/4 of of their 40 overs, picking up 20 points in a 9 run victory!

Saturday 22nd August, Milton 1sts gained promotion, Milton 2nds gained promotion and Milton 3rds gained promotion.

What an effort from all the club, playing members and others, who have really made this season a special one.

It's not over yet our 1sts and 3rds go again next week!
