Sunday Step Up from Linford Wood had 42 runners. We went to Oakridge Park before making our way back through Stonepit Fields. Well done all. A BIG thank you to Jeanette for tail duties today. 5k covered without loopbacks.

Linford Wood parkrun held event #465 for 375 finishers and 34 volunteers.

Of the finishers 81 were Redway Runners.

First RR lady and third lady overall was Heidi Towse.

First RR gent and third overall for Tony Head.

Queensway parkrun Club Road Trip

We had the club road trip to Queensway parkrun near Wellingborough and a great green turnout and the weather stayed mainly dry, we are now the largest club at Queensway with 197 Redway Runners having run this event.

Saturday 29 August saw event number 13 for 313 participants of which an amazing 56 were Redway Runners

First Redway Runners female was Sarah ARMITAGE
First Redway Runners male was William SHIPPIN (second overall)

First time at Queensway parkrun for everyone from the club that went along, so all got Queensway PB’s

There were 38 volunteers

How did you get on at Parkrun today?

Fabulous afternoon with the Redway Runners 'Run with the Robots' at the Stantonbury Track this afternoon, we had over 90 people taking part in the session.

Our thanks to the Milton Keynes robotics team, MMKAC for letting us hire the track and Sarah for leading the session.

The session comprised of announcements by the robot (doing the job of the Run Lead!!), a warm up of Tai Chi, led by the humanoid robot which was fun watching us attempting that.

The running session on the track was 400 metres on the track with a partner, whilst the robots ran alongside us.

We captured a few photos at the end just as the heavens opened.
Hope you enjoyed it.

Thanks to Kevin and Sarah for the photos, will work out how to publish some of the videos here or on club Instagram.

The fun session you also helped us to raise nearly £150 for the club charity of the year.
