🏆 JULY MEMBER OF THE MONTH — LUCY COPAS! 🏆

A HUGE congratulations to Lucy, our very deserving Member of the Month for July! 👏🔥

Since joining MajorFitness, Lucy has shown consistency, commitment and a brilliant attitude towards her training. She keeps turning up, putting in the work and challenging herself — exactly what we love to see! 💪

And July was no exception…

🔥 Lucy absolutely SMASHED the Deadly Dozen event with her team!
🔥 And clearly she’s caught the bug because she’s already signed up as a pair for an upcoming event! 👀💪

It’s fantastic to see how far she’s come and how she continues to push herself outside of her comfort zone.

Lucy, you should be incredibly proud of yourself. You’re a fantastic example of what happens when you stay consistent, commit to the process and keep challenging yourself.

Congratulations, Lucy! ❤️💙

Well deserved! 👏👏👏

I’VE GAINED 16LBS 😳

Yep… 16lbs since June. 😂

I made a conscious decision this summer to stop tracking my calories. I still trained, ate plenty of protein, ate mostly healthy foods and barely drank alcohol.

I just ate more.

Bigger portions, extra snacks, meals out and ice creams on the beach with my daughters. 🍦❤️

When I saw the scales, I initially felt disappointed and embarrassed.

Then I remembered something we tell our MajorFitness members all the time:

The scales aren’t a judgement. They’re information.

I’ve had an amazing summer, made memories, got stronger and gained some muscle. 💪

So no crash diet. No punishment.

I’m simply going back to what works:

🎯 Track my food
🥩 Hit my protein
🏋️ Train consistently
🚶 Move more

And I’m actually excited to document the journey back down. 🔥

16lbs can be gained.
16lbs can be lost.
But the memories stay. ❤️

If your summer has left you thinking “Oh bloody hell…” when you step on the scales 😂 — come and do it with me.

I’VE GAINED 16LBS 😳

Yep. 16lbs in around 3 months.

And when I stepped on the scales and saw the number, my first reaction wasn’t great.

I felt disappointed.
Frustrated.
Embarrassed, even.

Because for anyone who doesn’t know me, I’m Neil, co-owner of MajorFitness, a coaching gym in Bletchley.

I’m supposed to know what I’m doing, right? 😂

But here’s the thing…

I DO know what I’m doing.

And that’s exactly why I’m not going to beat myself up about it.

Back in June, I made a conscious decision to stop tracking my calories.

Not because I’d “given up”.

Not because I stopped caring about my health.

I just wanted a break.

I’ve still trained most days.
I’ve still eaten plenty of protein.
I’ve still eaten mostly the same healthy foods I normally eat.
I’ve barely touched alcohol.

The biggest difference?

I ate when I fancied eating.

A bit more here. A snack there. Bigger portions. An ice cream on the beach with my daughters. ❤️

Nothing outrageous.

But when you consistently eat a little more energy than your body needs, it adds up.

I actually expected to gain around 10lbs.

Turns out it was 16. 😂

And for about five minutes, I felt terrible about it.

Then I reminded myself of something we tell people at MajorFitness all the time…

Your weight today isn’t a judgement on you as a person.

It’s simply information.

And information tells you what to do next.

I’ve had a brilliant summer.

I’ve made memories with my family. ❤️

I’ve continued training.

I’ve got stronger.

I’ve gained some muscle. 💪

And, to be fair, I still look alright. 😂

So I’m not going to punish myself.

I’m not going to starve myself.

I’m not going to suddenly start doing two hours of cardio every day.

I’m simply going to go back to doing the things I KNOW work.

Track my food.
Hit my protein.
Train consistently.
Move more.
And watch the little improvements add up again.

And actually…

I’m excited. 🔥

Because now I get to document the journey back down.

And that’s really the message I wanted to share.

Sometimes life happens.

Sometimes you gain weight.

Sometimes holidays, meals out, ice creams with your kids and enjoying your summer take priority.

That’s okay.

You haven’t ruined anything.

You don’t need to feel ashamed.

And you certainly don’t need to wait until January to do something about it.

16lbs can be gained.

And 16lbs can be lost.

The memories stay either way. ❤️

So tomorrow, I’m back on it.

Not because I hate the way I look now…

But because I’m ready for my next goal. 😎💪🔥

And if you’ve had a similar summer and you’re looking at the scales thinking “Oh bloody hell…” 😂

Come and join me. Info on how in the comments ⬇️👇

We’ll get it back off together at MajorFitness. ❤️
