Good morning it’s a lovely sunny morning whilst I’m out course marking so as a bit of multi tasking I thought I would launch a brand new 5km for you just ahead of our Bullet Trains event at 11am

Sticking with the trains theme but going back in time on Sunday 20th September we will celebrate the beautiful Flying Scotsman steam locomotive.

Entires are a little bit more limited on this one with 25 places available.

We’d love you to chop chop choose to run with us. Did I mention there’s a pub at start & finish ?!

A rather late Friday update as the day got away from me !!

We’ll have a new September 5km to launch in the next few days.

Places update & not many places but we have a few singles !

Aug - Bullet Trains 5km - 1 place
Sept - Mystery - 1 place
Sept - Flying Scotsman Saturday - 1 place
Oct - Top Gun Sunday - 1 place

We are still offering free places for Flying Scotsman Sunday on a buy one get one free basis.

Top Gun Saturday is Full, the Sunday place has only become available due to a wedding!

We are looking forward to seeing our 5KM runners on Sunday at Caldecotte Lake for our Bullet Trains event.

Race numbers can be collected on the grass in front of Hickory's Smokehouse (MK7 8HP) from 10.40am at 10.55am we will walk to the start line for an 11am start.

The course is ¾ of a lap of the lake following the flour on the ground at all junctions. please be aware it is an open park & there will be people walking dogs, fishing & cycling please give other lakeside users space when passing them.

The pub has toilets both below the pub near race registration & upstairs in the pub too. The pub has a large free car park.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning.

Due to popular demand (& whining 😂 ) We are pleased to bring you a new Marathon & half marathon

With the Christmas Eve Die Hard event sold out we are gonna give you another dose of John McLaine with Die Hard & Christmas Jumpers on Wednesday 23rd December (no idea when I’ll get to the garage now for my Christmas Shopping ? Maybe on the way home from parkrun on Dec 25th ?!).

We have just 30 places for this one & it will be first come first served. 🦊

Typically as soon as we close Die Hard down we get two drop out who didn’t realise Dec 24th was the day before Christmas - who knew & when did this change ? 🙄

Which means we have 2 spaces - please be aware the day after this race it is Christmas Day which this year falls on Dec 25th 😉

We are hopefully gonna add a Dec 23rd race to accommodate those who don’t want to run the day before Christmas Day !! With a little luck we’ll have that open for entries by the end of this week ?

We will also shortly (Monday ?) be launching our December 5km.
