Our Crew help keep the centre running smoothly and create a safe, welcoming experience for everyone who visits. No two shifts are the same — you could be working on reception and customer service, serving in the café & kitchen, handling bookings, cleaning and maintaining the centre, stripping and jet-washing climbing holds, or supporting events and competitions.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking, confident with customers and a great team player, with a passion for climbing and the community.

Desirable, but not essential: CWI and First Aid qualifications, experience in hospitality, retail, café or leisure.

🏆 MIDLANDS YOUTH CLIMBING SERIES CHAMPIONS! 🏆

As our Youth Squad prepares for a new season of climbing competitions from September, we’re incredibly proud to have the Midlands Youth Climbing Series () Trophy back at Big Rock! 🧗‍♀️🧗‍♂️

Our amazing Big Rock Academy Squad secured this award for the 2025–26 season — adding to previous victories in 2018–19 and 2019–20. 💪

This achievement is a huge reflection of the talent, dedication and hard work of our young climbers, who have put in countless hours of training and travelled up and down the UK competing throughout the season.

A massive thank you also goes to all the parents, families and guardians who have given up weekends, evenings and countless hours supporting the squad along the way. ❤️

And of course, to our incredible team of coaches, whose passion for climbing and commitment to nurturing the next generation of climbers helps our young athletes continue to grow, develop and achieve their goals.

⭐ A special shoutout to Phil, our wonderful Chief Instructor, who works tirelessly for the squad, our climbers and the wider Big Rock team. We’re incredibly lucky to have you!

We had such a great time welcoming the children for a climbing session. Seeing everyone give climbing a go, cheer each other on, and grow in confidence throughout the session was amazing.

We're especially proud of our instructors, who work so hard to make every session fun, welcoming, and encouraging. Hearing that they made such a positive difference to the children's experience means a lot to us.

It's great to hear they're still talking about the day – that's exactly why we love doing sessions like these! 🧗💙
