Small groups, personal touch’s.
Everybody needs to complete core movement patterns to be strong & healthy. But a one size fits all approach leaves some people over trained… while others are undertrained.
At HQ, you don’t need to be anything else other than willing to work hard. You don’t need to meet a fitness or competency standard. We see you for who you, where you’re trying to go.
Take a watch of Coach Charlie taking a quiet 7am session just as to how we deliver personal training at STIMULUS.
Social media is fantastic
Everything you could possibly need to know, is out there for free.
So you have the information, what’s stopping you?
It’s the integration, that’s why coaching is so vital.
What works for you now. May not work then. Because it worked for them, it may not work now.
The things that influence your health and fitness are always varying and certainly do person to person.
If you’re fed up of second guessing what to do. Feeling overwhelmed on how to do it. Drop us a DM, we’d love to provide some clarity.

An awesome morning supporting some of our members in a hybrid racing event.
You’ll see a strong thread of competition through our community, it’s something we encourage, but will never push.
You see, probably like you, these ladies never thought about a fitness competition. They struggled to bring themselves to taking action and starting coaching.
They had a reason to not
- Fear of judgment
- Menopause
- Chronic back pain
- Fear of re injuring themselves
- Low energy
But they all had a reason to start.
We feel competitions can be a great way making sure you turn up to training with some focus and intent than just go through the motion. They can display just how far you’ve come. They can bring back those feelings of “I can’t do it” but reinstate confidence of “yes I can”.
The only competition in this is yourself. A constant pursuit of trying to raise your own standards and results.
We’re super proud of these ladies not just today, but look how far they have all come.
But all started from a place, just where you are now.
Kay’s been training with us since not long after having her second child. Postpartum, and short on time the way most parents are.
Her words “I didn’t prioritise myself at all. And I decided this time around, it’s like the mask analogy of putting the mask on myself before other people and it’s been phenomenal, I’m doing this to make sure I’m a present, fun, fit Mum”
That’s it, that’s the whole case of why all of this matters. We can’t pour into anyone else’s cup if ours is empty.
And with the school holidays coming to a close, we bet your cup is feeling pretty empty right now…

We see the exact same thing every September. People come back in September carrying more guilt than they need to about six weeks that were never really theirs to control.
If that’s you right now, don’t worry.
Training is for life, so will have seasons of more or less but a good plan never allows it’s to be on or off.
A program should act like a dimmer. Summer holidays for most parents are a season of using that dimmer to a minimal effective dose.
September is likely that time we’re looking turn the dimmer back up with the structure and normality resuming.
So if you did spend summer “off” fitness, it’s not you. You don’t need a quick six week fix or a huge reset. It’s time to integrate training into your busy life for all seasons.
