Lots of our Cleveland Wheelers Youth All-Stars have been enjoying our Summer Social Sessions, celebrating time on the bike by having fun off of it - all organised by the club for our dedicated youth riders 🎊🥳🙌

Another amazing round of Cyclo Cross fun at the NE Cycling CIC at Middlesbrough Velodrome Mega Cross earlier this week 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴🙌

Excellent conditions for it on a fun but slippery course with plenty of technical sections to negotiate - but lots of smiles on faces and phenomenal results for our youth riders too! 😁💪

Our next youth club ride out is tonight, please message us or comment below if you are interested in these and we will add you to our dedicated WhatsApp group to discuss things further 👍

❗🌧️ We are monitoring the weather situation and will make a decision on if this will go ahead in due course - if cancelled we may look to put other sessions on going forward 🌧️❗

Starting tonight, throughout August, our Youth All-Star Sessions will move to the open roads for a youth ride out around the country lanes 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♀️🙌

These will be in the usual Thursday 6-7pm time slot and are FREE to all youth riders and parents to attend, as part of our FREE Summer of Cycling Sessions throughout August. The only prerequisites is that riders are 8 years and older and are comfortable on open roads and riding as part of a group. Parents are more than welcome to attend to support and ride too 👍

Each week we will meet at a location to be determined and ride for an hour or so across a set route and distance. This will be communicated via our WhatsApp group. Please check in with this post if you are interested in attending, or drop us a message and I will add you to our WhatsApp group 💬🤝

Mega Mondays returned at Cleveland Wheelers Youth Coaching on Monday! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🙌

Across the month of August, Cleveland Wheelers has been rolling out it's Summer of Cycling for the 4th successive summer! In line with being officially recognised as a British Cycling Go-Ride Focus Club, we are offering ALL of our sessions in August - absolutely FREE! 🤝☀️😎🙌

It was a very fun session and everyone enjoyed the Commonwealth games style activities, races and games that we had, well done everyone who attended! 👏

*The Kids Vs Adults sessions are literally as they say, bring your parent / guardian to these sessions and go directly head to head against them - League 2000 style! Always wanted to get your own back? Wanted your parent / guardian to prove that they can do it just like you? Now you can! 😁

All Youth Riders and Parents
We are running another FREE Youth Workshop on the 10th September.

We will be joined by one of the clubs members Shaun O'Shea who is a qualified cycle mechanic to talk to you about working on your bikes.

This workshop is aimed at helping youth riders and parents when working on their bikes. Coving a range of areas from general maintenance / fixing issues and bike adjustments.

The session will take place at Middlesbrough Sports Village on the 10th September from 6.30pm in the Main building upstairs.

What amazing fun we all had on Wednesday at the Croft 'Come and Try It' 10 Mile TT 👇

We ran our third youth club ride out, through our FREE Summer of Cycling programme throughout August 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♀️🙌

Well done to those youth riders who attended and had fun on a great ride out around the country lanes! It looked like a super awesome route with similes all round! 😁👏
