Talent will only take you so far. Coaches notice your attitude, your body language and the way you treat the people around you.
Poor attitude can include:
❌ Moaning at teammates
❌ Muttering under your breath when the coach is talking
❌ Messing about during a session
❌ Not listening to instructions
❌ Blaming others when things go wrong
❌ Giving up when things don’t go your way
You don’t have to be the best player on the pitch — but you can control your attitude.
Be coachable.
Be respectful.
Work hard.
Support your teammates.
And most importantly… want to improve. 💪🧤
Your attitude can take you further than your talent ever will.

The goalkeepers needs are assessed through using an analysis of each were each Goalkeeper will be rated on various goalkeeping attributes. New Signing ✍️🔴🔵
We’re delighted to welcome Raphael Tomlinson to our RFYL squad.
Raph is already a familiar face to us through the TJFA, where we’ve come up against him numerous times when playing against Marton FC.
A fantastic shot-stopper and an all-round high-level goalkeeper, Raph brings plenty of quality to the squad. He also represents Middlesbrough at district level, which says a lot about the level he is already playing at.
We’re really pleased to have him on board and can’t wait to see what he can bring to the team this season.
