What a weekend…✈️🇭🇺

This weekend, we took 11 of our fighters to Budapest to compete in the IBK World Championships.

Everyone that participated from our squad gave 110% effort into their fights, regardless if they had one round or multiple.Everyone pushed their limits and fought courageously out of their comfort zones,and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone’s performances and achievements.

Thank you to the IBK for inviting our team to our second overseas event which couldn’t have been organised better.

We are delighted to announce that on the 19th of September our squad will be attending the IBK World Cup in Budapest!!

Our team have exceeded within the time training toward the tournament and we couldn’t be prouder. The effort that has been put in, the sacrifices and the pure commitment has been incredible.

What an incredible sparring day at Ronin.

We had around 45 karatekas from around the East midlands area attending sparmania. We may be from different clubs and have separate experiences, yet kyokushin brought us all together as a family. We pushed our limits and gained experience, together.

Signing the contract ✍️

Our students have made the choice to dedicate themselves to the difficult task of training consistently to be selected to join team Ronin on our journey to the next big step.

With this contract, our students commit themselves to intense training in order to prepare for this prestigious tournament.

Their thumb print in (fake) blood, confirms their pledge to secure their spot as a part of the team. 🩸👊

Ariel!!

Over the time of this last month, Ariel has increased her efforts toward sparring as she strived in Sparnado and perfecting her kihon and kata for upcoming gradings.

Her consistency and commitment cannot go unnoticed.

A big well done to our small team of 3 who set of today to fight in a K1 event in Leicester!

A brilliant new experience for our fighters as they’ve only fought in tournaments that are kyokushin rules. Not only did they step out of their comfort zones,they also all came home with gold!!

All three of our students came across tough opponents,and as always they showed perseverance, determination and demonstrated true kyokushin spirit in a room full of different styles of martial arts.

We are incredibly proud and can’t wait to see you in action again!
