Carrick Rugby Website Welcome to Carrick Rugby Football Club. We are a vibrant community based rugby club covering the whole of North and South Carrick.

In January 2021 we became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC050725 reflecting our passion for our community and our sport. The club has micro-mini, midi and senior sections. The senior side competes in Tennent's West Regional League Division 1, so why not come along, whether you are looking for a game or just a bit of fitness. Training times and locations are as below but please check in to this page and the Carrick Micro minis for more specific details and any changes

Midis 6.00pm to 7.30pm Fridays - Carrick Academy Astro

Micro-minis 11:00am to 12:00pm Sundays
5pm to 6pm Tuesdays at Carrick Academy Astro
5pm to 6pm Wednesdays at Girvan Primary

We welcome players and volunteers of all ages and stages to come and join us for regular coaching/ training sessions, seasonal camps and social activities. We currently play out of the Sommerville, Pavilion, which can be found in the Glebe Crescent, Maybole. Hit 'Like' to be kept up to date on everything from Carrick Rugby.

🏉 CARRICK RFC WEEKEND ROUND UP 💙🖤

Another packed weekend of rugby for Carrick, with teams in action from U13s right through to our 1st XV!

Our 1st XV Men put in a dominant performance on Saturday with a huge 75–0 win over East Kilbride RFC, with Owen Hall grabbing two tries and Player of the Match. 🔥

Our U16 Boys came through a really competitive contest against Dalziel with a 21–17 win, while the U16 Girls were involved in an absolute thriller against Lenzie, coming out 63–44 winners in the National Cup! 👏

Our U13 Boys joined up with Cumnock to get valuable game time against Cambuslang. Despite falling short on the day, it was another great opportunity for the boys to get rugby under their belts. Harris Gemmell was named Player of the Day by Coach Shay Gamble after an impressive effort in both attack and defence. 👏

It was a tougher weekend results wise for our U18 Girls against Dundee and the Carrick/Wigtownshire U18 Boys against Argyll & Bute, but both groups continue to build, develop and gain valuable experience together.

🏉 CARRICK RFC WEEKEND CATCH UP 🔵⚫️

Another busy weekend of rugby across the club, with plenty to look back on and another big weekend ahead!

Our 1st XV Men made it two wins from two with a dramatic 48–46 victory over Dalziel on Saturday, following up their opening away win at Annan. Euan Hutchison was named Player of the Match after a brilliant performance. 👏

On Sunday, our Mini & Micro section travelled to Irvine for their first rugby of the season. There was some fantastic rugby across P1–P7, plenty of tries and, most importantly, a brilliant morning back on the pitch. Jamie and Archie picked up Player of the Match awards for P4–P5 and P6–P7 respectively. 🏉

It was also a busy Sunday for our youth sections. Our U16 Girls faced Dumfries, our U16 Boys took on East Kilbride/Whitecraigs, while our U14 Girls were in action against Ayr. Results didn’t go our way, but there were plenty of positives across all three groups and valuable competitive rugby to build on as the season gets underway. 💪

📣 **CARRICK RUGBY GIRVAN – HAVE YOUR SAY!** 🏉

🏉 WEEKEND ROUND-UP | WHAT’S NEXT 💙🖤

A look back at the weekend’s action for our Carrick sides, with plenty of rugby on show across the club.

Our Men’s 1st XV got their season off to a strong start with a 37–28 win away to Annan, with Nathan Harvey named Player of the Match after a standout performance. 👏

Our U16 Girls also picked up an impressive 74–24 victory over Lenzie.

Our U18 Girls were in action against Cambuslang and, despite the result not going their way, produced plenty of positives with Holly Morland crossing for four tries and adding three conversions.
