Our Team A.S Judo Development Hub reopens tonight at Berkhamsted Pre-Prep Sports Hall!

📅 Every Thursday during term time
⏰ 6:30pm–7:30pm

These sessions are designed for young judoka who want to train more, develop faster and take their judo to the next level.

We’ll be working on technical development, fitness, strength, confidence, mindset and plenty of quality judo! 💪🥋

Open to all abilities, you don’t need to already train with Team A.S Judo to join us.

🇧🇪🥋 BELGIUM 2026 – DONE! 🥋🇧🇪

What a weekend! 🔥

The Team A.S fighters are back home after another brilliant training camp in Belgium with our Belgian friends.

Every year we use this trip to blow away the summer cobwebs and get the fighters back into serious training ready for the season ahead.

🔥 Plenty of hard work!

Long days, tired bodies and plenty of sore muscles… but that’s exactly what we came for!

These trips are about pushing yourself, getting fitter, getting sharper and spending quality time together as a team. The players worked incredibly hard all weekend and came away better for it.

Massive thank you to our Belgian friends for the hospitality, the training and, as always, making us feel so welcome. 🇧🇪🤝🇬🇧

Now it’s time to take that work back onto our own mats.

☀️We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to camp tomorrow morning for the final three days of our Summer Judo Camps!

It’s been a fantastic summer for Team A.S Judo. We’ve already run four brilliant camps, and our fifth and final camp takes place this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

For these last three days, we’ll be focusing on getting the children fit, sharp and ready for September. There’ll be plenty of:

* Judo training and technical work
* Fitness and conditioning
* Games and team activities
* Lots of fun along the way!

After a long summer break, it’s a great opportunity to get everyone moving again, sharpen up their judo and start getting them back into training mode before our school and academy classes return in September.

A few spaces are still available for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so if you haven’t booked but would like your child to join us for one or more days, just drop us an email and we’ll do our best to squeeze them in.

For everyone already booked, we can’t wait to see you tomorrow morning and finish what has been a hugely successful summer of camps on a high! 😎

☀️ Team ASJ Summer Camps are in full swing! 🥋

What an amazing few days we had at our first Summer Camp at Berkhamsted Pre-Prep!

The children had an incredible time enjoying:
🥋 Judo
⚽ Football
🏏 Rounders
🏐 Bench Ball
🎯 Team challenges
🎬 Daily movie time
😄 Lots of laughs, new friendships and plenty of fun!

It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces, with lots of children asking when they could come back before the camp had even finished!

🥇 GOLD MEDAL! 🥇

Huge congratulations to Robbie Young on becoming a British National Team Champion, helping the Pre Cadet Boys Team NHC to GOLD at today’s British National Team Championships! 🇬🇧🏆

Robbie put in an incredible performance throughout the day, finishing with an outstanding record of 5 fights – 2 wins and 3 losses, playing his part in Team NHC’s gold medal success. 💪🏻🥋

Everyone at Team ASJ is incredibly proud of you. Enjoy every moment, you’ve earned it! 🩷👏

Best of luck to this little lion 🦁 Robbie Young, who will today be fighting in this year’s British National Team Championships 🇬🇧 in the U42kg Pre Cadet Team NHC 🩷

Robbie is now the 5th Team ASJ fighter to have been selected to represent their Area at the National Teams 💪🏻

A nice bit of history too… Robbie is now following in his dad’s footsteps. Ben Young also represented Team NHC, and I had the privilege of fighting alongside Ben when we won the Senior Men’s Team title 🏆

It’s fantastic to see the next generation carrying on the family tradition and wearing the Team NHC badge with pride.

Go and enjoy every second, Robbie. We’re all behind you! 🩷🥋🇬🇧

A huge congratulations to Robbie Young for an outstanding performance at the Kent International, taking Gold in the Under 42kg Blue Belt & Above Under-16 category! 🥇

Robbie showed fantastic determination, skill and composure throughout the day, producing some excellent judo against strong opposition, and this is another brilliant achievement to add to his growing list of successes.
