One of the strengths of Marsh Physio Plus is our multidisciplinary team. When you contact us, we will listen to what has been happening, ask a few helpful questions and guide you towards the practitioner or service that may be the most appropriate starting point.

That could be physiotherapy, sports therapy, massage, rehabilitation, chiropractic care or another form of support within the clinic. If your needs change as treatment progresses, our practitioners can also work together or refer you to a colleague with the right expertise.

We cannot diagnose you over the telephone, but good triage can help you begin in the right place.

Reformer Pilates: together or one-to-one 💙

Whether you enjoy the energy of a group or would prefer support tailored entirely to you, there is more than one way to discover Reformer Pilates at Marsh Physio Plus.

✨ Group Reformer classes

Move through a carefully guided session alongside others, using the Reformer to develop strength, control, mobility and body awareness. Our classes are supportive and welcoming, with instruction to help you work at an appropriate level for up to four participants.

✨ One-to-one Reformer sessions

Ideal if you are new to the equipment, would like more individual attention or have particular goals you want to work towards. Your instructor can take time to understand how you move, introduce the Reformer at your pace and adapt the session around you.

Reformer Pilates can be challenging, precise and surprisingly enjoyable. Whichever option you choose, you will be supported to move well and build confidence on the equipment. 🙌

Group classes up to four participants, one-to-one and duet sessions are available at our Elcot clinic in Marlborough.

We are still based at Marlborough Golf Club too, with selected appointments and services continuing there. Your booking confirmation will tell you which clinic to attend, so please check before setting off.

A simple wedge with plenty of possibilities 💙

At Marsh Physio Plus, we use the OptiNeck Balance Wedge® during treatment and rehabilitation to help improve movement through the upper back, encourage better postural alignment and relieve strain around the neck and shoulders.

Its stable, angled shape allows our team to position the body carefully while working on mobility, stretching, strengthening and soft tissue release. Unlike a foam roller, it stays firmly in place, giving patients a secure and comfortable base from which to move. 🙌

It can be particularly helpful for people experiencing neck, shoulder or upper-back pain and stiffness, including problems associated with prolonged desk work and screen use. Where appropriate, we can also show patients how to use the wedge at home, helping them continue their exercises and build on the progress made during treatment.

As always, how we use it depends on the individual. It is another useful tool that helps us tailor treatment to the person in front of us.
