Jenny Wren

We have 10 years of wonderful memories on our narrowboat. We met some lovely people who we will always remain friends with, but times change and we're very much enjoying our new life and meeting lots more lovely people 😊

Our newly painted narrowboat Jenny Wren, complete with new double glazed windows and new steel front storage lockers. We're delighted with the work done by Jez, who is a brilliant cabin painter, Matt and John at Tooley's Boatyard, Banbury for the window installation, blacking, and numerous other jobs, and the beautiful signwriting and handpainted Wren by our very talented brother-in-law Neil Ferris. Cannot thank these guys enough for the work done.

The heron that just keeps moving !!!

Heron's really just don't get it. They fly off as you get to them, only to go another few yards up the canal, and so it goes on and on and on....

Had a lovely time at Tixall Wide again, met a lovely couple and spent 2 great social evenings. Amazing how Tony and Kev both served in the forces in the same places. Looking forward to the next time, sad to say bye this morning!!
