At The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, we believe that Jiu Jitsu training can help every child and adult develop the mental and physical skills they need to succeed in life.

Jiu Jitsu isn’t just about self-defense like so many believe. At The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, it’s also about self-confidence, improved focus, physical strength, and positive social interaction.

The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy teaches our members to set goals, work hard, and follow-through, all the while having fun and making friends.

Adult program 🔥

All of our adult classes (15+) are open to students of all skill levels. Coaches cover a theme that progresses in each class across the course of a week. 50% of the class time is spent learning techniques from instructors with positional sparing to build fluidity in the techniques and 50% participating in live sparring.

Kids age 6-9 program 🔥

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a Martial Art, a sport and a way of life. This program provides a comprehensive introduction to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a safe and responsible way, without the potentially dangerous submission holds that are used at more advanced levels. We lay a foundation through movement, basic techniques and a variety of games that build discipline, friendship and gross motor skill development. Students will learn takedowns, how to fall safely, basic self defense, positional control and basic tumbling. No experience necessary.

Kids age 10-14 program 🔥

This is a comprehensive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program focused on building a foundation for success on and off the mats. We teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a dynamic, fun, friendly and safe environment. This program teaches the basics of the art and introduces submission holds and additional supervised sparring as the student matures. Students will learn our technical and responsible approach to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and its various applications. No experience necessary.
