For a lot of us, it's the last day of the 'school holidays' and back to normality this week, the kids back at school, the suitcases packed away and our phones full of memories and photos.
We've had the Glapwell Carnival, the Raven holiday, Pleasley pit demo and our bikeride as well as all of our usual classes.

At Raven, we welcome students from all martial arts backgrounds, and those completely new to it! Although our discipline is Wado Ryu Karate and of course, kickboxing, we welcome lots of different styles into our Dojo. So, what Martial Arts do you train?! It would be great to see how many styles are represented across our Social Media!

Wonderful to receive an update from everyone at Raven Defensive Arts .

I'm delighted to hear that their Team GB athletes have returned from the European International Martial Arts Games in Berlin with an incredible 8 medals, including 3 golds. A fantastic achievement and a real testament to the dedication of the athletes, coaches and everyone involved at the club.

It was clear during my visit just how much hard work goes into supporting members of all ages, and it's great to see the club continuing its fantastic community work alongside its sporting success.

Congratulations to everyone! You've done our area proud.
