⏰ The start times and rink draws for the SPG Langwith Junction Open Triples are all now available and should have been sent to all captains, they are also on the image below.

🌭🥓 We have bacon and sausage cobs available until 11am on both the 3rd and 4th, and a selection of cold cobs will be available throughout the days

🥤☕️ A selection of hot and cold drinks will also be available throughout both days

🙌 Why not come down and support your club mates, the group stages take place on Sunday 3rd May with the knockouts taking place on the 4th May from around 9:30am on each day.

Emails and texts have gone out to all entries today to make payment for our 2026 SPG Construction LTD Langwith Junction Open Triples.

Those that have already paid will not have recieved a message.

Once all entries have made payment we will release the group draw and start times. This has all been made and is ready to go so once all payments are received we will release that information to all entries with more information on food/drinks etc.

Looking forward to getting the season underway! 🔴⚫️

We will be reaching out over the next few days to start taking payment for the competition. Please look out for that via email or text message.

A fresh new look for the Junction in 2026 ⚫️🔴

Henselite have been an absolute pleasure to work with on the design and have always been super helpful with any questions and tweaks, any clubs looking for new kit for the coming season reach out to Henselite 🤝

Last night we held our annual end of season awards and quiz night 🔴⚫️

We had so much to celebrate as a club this year but most of all it was great to celebrate the amazing togetherness we have, our little club might not look much but the effort our members put in year in year out makes the club invaluable!

Winners on the night were:
Players Player - Steve Thorpe
Most Improved - Lucy Follows
Best Stats - Matt Chambers

Other mentions last night went to Saturday League team captained by Mick Chapman who led the side to an unbeaten season and league title and our Thursday afternoon team captained by Karen "noddy" Chapman and Wendy Garrett who ran out deserved winners of the Thursday league after a great campaign, we also have to mention the Tuesday night league team captained by Aaron Lockhart who came agonisingly close to the league title just missing out by 1 point. Well done to our captains and members on a great 2025 league campaign 🏆👏

On the County competitions front we were able to celebrate our men's county fours winners Steve Thorpe, Lee Garrett, Aaron Lockhart and David Harvey as well as our county Singles winner Dave Harvey 🔴⚫️
A special mention has to go to Dave who also ended the season by winning the Midland County Singles to round of a great 2025 for Dave 🏆

2025 has truly been a great season for us as a club hosting our Open Triples Competiton at the start of 2025 as well as breaking new ground and hosting the Bowls England Women's John Quarter Final between Yorkshire and Leicestershire.

We could not do anything without the support of our volunteers who put thier time and effort into our amazing club ❤️

Bring on 2026 and another exciting year for the Junction welcoming Great British Bowls to host thier Open Triples and Open Pairs.
