A mixed bag for Clipstone CC this weekend, with a win for the 2nd XI and a tough result for the 1st XI.

🟢1st XI vs Cuckney CC
Cuckney CC 225/8 (50)
Clipstone CC 211 all out (49.2)
❌ Clipstone lost by 14 runs

A great effort from the lads, but just fell short in the chase. Sahid Chauhan top-scored with 83, with Hemings Patel adding 28. With the ball, Hemings Patel finished with excellent figures of 3/40.

✅ Clipstone won by 10 wickets

A dominant performance from the 2nd XI! 🔥 Dale Sheppard 50* and Ollie Williams 22* saw Clipstone chase down the target without losing a wicket. Earlier, Nathan Flowers returned superb figures of 5/21 to help bowl Welbeck out for just 75.

One Win, One Loss for Clipstone CC

It was a mixed weekend for Clipstone CC, with the First XI securing a win against Papplewick & Linby CC, while the Second XI fell to defeat against Gainsborough CC.

🏏 First XI
A strong team performance saw Clipstone secure the victory, with Sahid Chauhan top-scoring with 46.

With the ball, Atik Dungaria led the way with an excellent 5-42, supported by Hemmings Patel with 3-35.

👏 Well done to the First XI!

🏏 Second XI
The Second XI battled hard but were ultimately beaten by Gainsborough CC.

Lee Wilson top-scored for Clipstone with 29.
