Today was ivys second ever hack!

And this time we had a thunderstorm and the heavens opened, so much so that we had to stand under a tree and wait for it to pass!

She wasnt phased at all by the weather and had her first ever canter under saddle 🏇🏇🏇

Yesterday we did our guided ride around vicars water with a coffee stop at the dog and duck!

The weather was wet but we didn’t let that stop us! It’s made a refreshing change from the heat wave that seemed to last forever.

Happy faces and happy horses! That’s what having horses is all about!

All our rides are steady pace so if you just want to enjoy the views and take in the beautiful countryside or you have a youngster that you want to build confidence in a safe way we have something for everyone.

It was Ivy’s first adventure away from the yard this week, and her first time on the lorry too!

accompanied by China, who is the perfect nanny horse.

Richard’s done an incredible job starting her education and the proof was in the pudding as she was an absolute superstar for him.

⭐️ UPDATE - he’s only got himself a qualification for regional championships at little downham! 🎉🎉🎉

So a year ago we went to watch Frickley international Horse Trials, when richard said “this time next year I want to be competing here on my ex racehorse!”

Not only did they do it, They smashed it with a double clear SJ and XC and there best dressage to date! Just time penalties on the XC meaning they didn’t get placed but fantastic considering the ground conditions have made any fitness training very difficult to maintain.

Incredibly proud of our team! ❤️
