⚽🔥 ONE OF THE BIGGEST BENEFITS of starting my new job has been just how much more active I am!

Instead of being stuck in the car or behind a laptop all day, I’m outside more—training, coaching, and constantly on the move. It’s made me realise just how different life feels when your days are built around being active.

I didn’t even realise how little I was moving before until I came across the step counter on my phone. The difference genuinely surprised me!

On average, I’ve been doing over 3,500 more steps per day in 2026 compared to last year. That’s well over 1.2 million extra steps across the year!

I’m not sure if that’s a really good improvement… or if I was just that inactive before. 😅 Either way, I’ll take it!

It’s a good reminder that sometimes the biggest health improvements come from small changes you don’t even notice day to day.

SUMMER CAMP IS JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY! ☀️🎉

Summer Camp is almost here, and we’re putting the finishing touches in place to make it an amazing experience for everyone. We can’t wait to welcome all of our campers for a week filled with fun, friendship, adventure, and unforgettable memories.

Of course, we’ll have our fantastic football inflatables, including Football Darts and our Inflatable Goal, but that’s just the beginning.

A huge congratulations to this month’s Shiny Blue Card winner… Hakeem!

Hakeem continues to go from strength to strength, growing in confidence every single week. He’s always listening, is the first to respond to the coaches, and gives 100% in every game and training session.

This month, we’ve focused on positivity, and despite being just 5 years old, Hakeem has been a fantastic role model with his positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. He’s a joy to coach and thoroughly deserves this recognition.

🎉 ⚽️ TIME FLIES! Tots Football Fun has officially completed its first month in Didsbury!

The last four weeks have flown by, and it’s been fantastic to welcome so many local children to enjoy playing football for the very first time. And we’re only just getting started!

From Dinosaur football to Toy Story adventures, we’ve had plenty of laughs, exciting games, big smiles, and lots of goals along the way!

⚽😊 “BEING A FOOTBALL COACH MUST BE EASY”

I’ve heard that comment countless times this year.

“You only coach for an hour a day… how hard can it be?”

If only running your own business was that simple!

Behind every hour on the pitch are countless hours spent on admin, marketing, promoting camps and sessions, planning training, organising venues, responding to messages, attending meetings, and so much more. The to-do list never really ends.

I’m lucky to have an incredible support network around me—people who are always there with advice when I need it. I’m also fortunate to work alongside a fantastic team of assistant coaches who help deliver high-quality sessions week in, week out.

Is it worth it? Absolutely.

The reward is getting to do something I genuinely love every single day. There’s nothing better than being on the pitch, coaching, and watching our superstar players learn, grow, develop, and build their confidence.

So when someone says, “It must be easy,”

I just smile and say…

“Yeah, it is.”
