Our newest POP UP Tango Manchester dancers have just completed their very first Beginner Cycle this September — and now it’s time for one of the most special moments in their tango journey:

We’re creating a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment where our new dancers can experience the magic of the milonga for the very first time — and we would love the Manchester tango community to be part of it.
Come and dance, celebrate, encourage and welcome our newest dancers onto the social floor. ❤️

We organise a short introductory tango class at the beginning of the evening and continue with a lively milonga. Aims to introduce our passion of tango to the community of Manchester.

Connecting Your Heart to Tango Music – first train your ears 🎶

Have you just started dancing Argentine tango? Or have you been dancing for months, years, or even decades?

Have you ever wondered:

💗 How can I connect more deeply with traditional tango music?
💗 What are the stories behind these beautiful compositions?
💗 How do I recognise and appreciate the great orchestras of the Golden Age?
💗 What makes each orchestra unique, and how does that influence the dance?

Through guided listening, stories, historical context and practical insights, you'll discover new ways to hear the music and build a stronger connection with it on the dance floor.

Completed a beginner course and ready to keep progressing? Join our six-week continuing Argentine Tango course at POP UP Tango Manchester.

CANARO will help you strengthen your foundations, improve your connection, posture, walking, musicality and navigation, while building confidence for the social dance floor.

Suitable for dancers who have completed one of our beginner courses, have been learning tango for a while, or simply want to refresh their foundations.

No labels. No pressure. Just a friendly and supportive space to learn, practise and enjoy tango together.
