It might NOT be the right time for you to join my post summer shred challenge.

I don’t agree with the idea that you should force yourself to start something regardless of whats happening in your life, because you don’t genuinely know whats going on for a person.

And this was the exact same thing for my client Alex, last year we were talking back and forth about working together, but for personal reasons, it just wasn’t the right time.

This year, his circumstances had changed.

He joined my 12 Week Summer Shred Challenge, and in 12 weeks he got into the best shape he’s ever been in.

More importantly, he became the most consistent he’s ever been with his training, without feeling like he had to be all or nothing.

So if you’re listening to this maybe the last time I opened a challenge, it genuinely wasn’t the right time for you.

Maybe work was chaos, you had a holiday coming up. Or Maybe training just wasn’t high enough on the priority list.

Fair enough.

But that doesn’t mean the answer has to stay ‘not now’ forever.

Because your circumstances can change.

So if the first half of the year got away from you, summer knocked your routine sideways, and you’re ready to get some structure back into your training and food…

maybe this one has landed at a better time.

“If you want to see exactly what the challenge involves, DM me ‘CHALLENGE’ and I’ll send you the details.”

Progress update from the big man 😎

Leon joined my 12 Week Summer Shred Challenge at the start of April with one clear goal:

Lose the belly and finally see his abs.

What makes this transformation even more impressive is that Leon was not a beginner.

He had already been training for 10 years.

He also ate relatively well.

But despite all that effort, he never quite achieved the physique he wanted.

And it was not because he was lazy or not trying hard enough.

The real issue was that he did not have the right structure with his training and diet.

As he got older, he also wanted to prove to himself that he could do it.

Over the last 5 months, Leon has grafted his arse off.

It has not always been easy.

There were moments where he struggled with his diet, but instead of falling off, we stayed focused, worked through each roadblock, and kept moving forward.

And now?

The belly is down.
The abs are visible.
And he has achieved the physique he had wanted for years.

Massive credit to you, mate you’ve absolutely smashed it. 💪

My next challenge starts on 8th September.

If you want to end the year in the best shape of your life, drop me a DM with the word “CHALLENGE” and I’ll send over all the details.

The Post Summer Shred Challenge!

Here we go! The Post Summer Shred Challenge is officially open!

Summer’s winding down, and if you’re like me, you’ve enjoyed the holidays (and the extra food and drink 🍔). Maybe you’re feeling a few pounds heavier now.

After summer it can feel hard to get some structure and routine back in place with your training and diet.

That’s where The Post-Summer Shred Challenge comes into play.

The challenge starts September 8th.

It’s designed to help you shed 10–20 lbs of fat, and build lean muscle in 12 weeks, which will be December… Yes I’m going to be that guy, December will be just 12 weeks away when we kick off. The challenge will get you in your best shape: no more shirts hugging the belly, only hugging the biceps 💪.

You’ll get a fully structured training, diet, and accountability plan, no guesswork, just results.

Most guys are scared of squatting because they haven’t got a set structure on how to approach the exercise properly, and they’re afraid they will hurt their back or that they won’t get back up. Here’s how to change that.

1.) Set the right height of the bar for how tall you are. The correct height is when you can unrack the bar with a slight bend in your knee, so you’re not going on your tip toes, or doing a 1/2 squat to unrack it.

2.) Most guys step under the bar far too tentatively without any real intention, you want wedge yourself under the bar and attack it with confidence, this will make sure the bar is firmly secure on your back and your body has enough tension to hold it.

3.) Most guys un-rack the bar without breathing or bracing properly, so when they do, it feels like its crushing them down. Take a big breath in your torso and imagine you’re filling it up like a ballon and hold it as you unrack.

This is how strong lifters with good physiques lift. For more simple effective training tips like this, drop me a follow ✅

All the same foods, but your results will vary massively.

If you don’t know the portion sizes you need to be eating, it doesn’t make a difference what foods you eat, it can be the difference between keeping the dad bod, or getting lean and in shape.

I ate very similar same foods to what I normally do on my 5 week cut, I just changed the portion sizes, and you can see the results for yourself.

Save this video for the next time you’re trying to get lean.

If you have worked hard to lose weight for your holiday, it is completely normal to worry about undoing your progress while you are away.

You might be thinking:

“What if I put it all back on?”

“What if I lose control?”

“What if these seven days ruin the last few months?”

I get it.

And it is easy for someone like me to simply say, “Don’t stress,” when I have been doing this for years.

So instead I’m going to say this

You didn’t get fat overnight. It probably happened gradually.

A few extra meals here and little less movement there.

Months of habits adding up until one day you saw a photo of yourself and realised you were no longer happy with how you looked.

Your progress did not happen overnight either.

It came from what you did consistently over weeks and months.

Seven days is only around 1.9% of the year.

1.9% doesn’t undo all the work you put in 90% of the time.

That does not mean a holiday has zero impact.

You might come home heavier from more food, salt, carbohydrates and alcohol.

But that does not automatically mean you have undone months of fat loss, a lot of it will be water weight.

What matters most is what you return to when the holiday is over, this is the key thing

You are not defined by what you do occasionally.

You are defined by what you do on average.

So enjoy the meal, have a few beers and order the dessert.

Then come home and return to the habits that got you into shape in the first place.

Fitness should give you more confidence and freedom, not make you scared of a restaurant menu.

Enjoy the good food and drinks.

Or, in my case, the good food and approximately 12 coffees a day. 😂☕

The difference between where you are now, and the physique you want to achieve comes down to the daily choices and actions you make, you don’t need to get things perfect straight away, but as long as you’re making decisions over time that leads to the “Guy who is in shape” you will be well on your way

Most men make these 3 mistakes when they bench and it is one of the reasons they never get much stronger or build the chest they want.

1.) Their feet are all over the place

They never think about foot position.

So their feet sit too far forward, move around during the set, and they lose stability before the bar has even moved.

2.) They just lie flat on the bench

They don’t have any upper-back tension, their shoulder blades aren’t pulled back, there is no deliberate setup.

Strong benching starts with creating a stable base, not just lying down and hoping for the best.

3.) They rush the unrack

They lift the bar out before they have braced, taken a proper breath, or created any tension through their body.

That is the big difference. Average lifters think the bench press starts when the bar comes down.

Strong lifters know the lift starts before the bar even leaves the rack.

Fix your setup, get more stable, and give yourself a much better foundation to become stronger over time.

I break all 3 down properly in the reel.
