✨ A little peek at our Time to Shine baby massage space ✨

We’re not in the space today after a few cancellations, so I’ve taken the opportunity to slow down a little, get some admin done and enjoy a bit of quiet time too. 💗

I thought I’d share a little video of the space all set up and ready for our baby massage sessions — complete with our lights and all the little touches I’ve been putting together. 🌈✨

I want this to be more than just a baby massage class. I’m creating a calm, welcoming space where mums and babies can slow down, connect, feel comfortable and simply enjoy being together.

Sometimes plans change, and that’s okay. Today I’m making the most of a quieter day and getting things ready behind the scenes. 💕

I can’t wait to fill this space with you and your little ones. 👶💗

💃✨ OPEN FLOOR — WE’RE OFF! ✨💃

What a lovely first Open Floor session! 💜

We had a small group this week, which gave us a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other and explore lots of creative dance games, movement and choreography skills in a relaxed and welcoming space.

We’re so excited to welcome a few more new friends next week and start growing our Open Floor community. 🫶

✨ SEND DANCE & MOVEMENT SESSIONS — STARTING THIS WEDNESDAY! ✨

🌈 A safe, fun and inclusive space where everyone can move, connect, create and SHINE! 💃🕺

We’re excited to welcome children and young people with SEND to our weekly dance and movement sessions:

📅 Every Wednesday — starting this week
⏰ 4:30pm – 5:30pm
📍 The Hub, Westhoughton

Our sessions are all about having fun, making memories and being yourself. 💜

We believe inclusion means recognising that everyone is different. There’s no “right” way to join in — participation can look different for every child depending on their needs, abilities, confidence and what they feel comfortable with. Some may dance, some may move in their own way, some may watch, explore or join in when they’re ready. It’s all welcome. 🥰

☕ Parents/carers: The Hub has a café with refreshments, so you can enjoy a coffee and a little time to relax while your child takes part. Parents/carers must remain onsite during the session unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance.

Today’s baby massage session looked a little different. 🤍

Sometimes babies simply aren’t ready to join in — and that’s okay.

Today, baby was feeling very upset, so rather than putting any pressure on them (or their parent), we slowed right down. We held the space, offered comfort, and simply followed baby’s cues.

Baby massage isn’t about getting through every stroke or completing a full routine. It’s about connection, bonding, feeling safe, and learning to listen to your baby.

There is absolutely no pressure in my classes to “perform” or to make baby take part. Some days we massage, some days we cuddle, and some days we simply pause and be together. 🌿

And sometimes, holding the space is exactly what baby and parent need. 💕
