Lee trained for years. His abs never showed up.
“I’ve been a soldier now for nearly 20 years. I’ve always been fit, but I’ve always carried weight.”
Training hard wasn’t the problem. He was in the gym consistently, lifting heavy, putting in the work.
“Although I was training hard, training heavy, I still carried a lot of weight. I felt good in the gym and I come out with a pump, but I wasn’t really getting anywhere.”
He’d cut hard for 8 weeks, chase the abs, never quite get there. Lose a bit of fat, lose a lot of muscle, start again. He got scared of dieting because every attempt cost him what he’d built.
Then there were the weekends. Meals out, a few drinks, nothing wild. Just enough to undo the whole week, every single Monday.
“You’re never gonna do a proper weight-loss programme Monday to Friday, binge on Saturday and Sunday, and think you’re gonna get anywhere. It doesn’t work like that, and I never knew that.”
We didn’t tell him to stop living his life. We applied a protocol. Lower calories through the week, banked and spent on the days that actually mattered to him.
6 months on the programme. Still in shape 12 months later.

Rees didn’t need more time. He needed a routine he could actually stick to.
Before P3, training had no structure. No progression. No reason to keep showing up.
In his words: “I didn’t ever enjoy it or get anywhere with it, so it was just like, what’s the point?”
14 hour days. A partner. 2 step children. On paper, no time to train.
“I used to think I’ve got no time, but three hours a week isn’t a lot. Plan your week out properly and you can make the time.”

T-Minus 6 weeks (maybe)
Birthday week last week definitely did some damage 😅
Friday Chinese, Saturday day out (and night 💀) and then 3 days of recovering, feeling sorry for myself.
I could feel myself falling for the I’ll start Monday so I took action instead.
