Both players shared their experiences and spent time with the boys’ group at Myerscough College & University Centre, helping to support and inspire them as they developed their rugby skills.

🏉 We're proud to be one of the top three performing PREM Rugby clubs for delivering the Gallagher Touchline Academy in its first year.

A free, accessible teacher training programme that aims to upskill 2,000 teachers by 2028, the Gallagher Touchline Academy gives teachers of all experience levels the skills, confidence and CPD-accredited learning to bring rugby into their school environment.

Through the programme, we've already supported 𝟲𝟮 teachers to confidently deliver rugby sessions in schools, helping to inspire the next generation of players and fans.

Our next session takes place on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟵 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 here at Carrington.

The biggest Girls Residential we have ever done!!

Another amazing week at Myerscough College as we hosted our biggest Girls Residential and even welcomed some special guests. Sale Sharks Women coaches and players joined us to take part and inspire the next generation in a week full of technique, tactics, fun and games ✨

🏉 Our Girls Residential Week gets underway today at Myerscough College & University Centre.

With record demand seeing the residential reach capacity, this is our biggest and most popular girls' residential yet, highlighting the growing appetite for rugby opportunities that support girls to develop both on and off the pitch.

Inspired by Sale Sharks Women, attendees will spend the week developing their rugby skills, tactical understanding and game awareness, while taking part in sessions covering strength and conditioning, nutrition, mindset and performance analysis.

It's an incredible opportunity for young players to learn, grow and gain valuable insights into what it takes to perform at the highest level.

We can't wait to see the girls develop throughout the week and create memories that will last a lifetime. 💙

💙 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Our six-week Try2Connect programme, delivered with Place2Be, combines physical activity, classroom learning and the Five Ways to Wellbeing to support primary school children’s mental health.

Over the next three weeks, boys and girls from across the region and beyond will be heading to Myerscough College for an unforgettable week of rugby and personal development.

Designed to replicate a professional training week at Sale Sharks, players will develop their skills, tactical understanding and game awareness, while also learning about strength & conditioning, nutrition, mindset and performance analysis.

We can't wait to see everyone develop both on and off the pitch and make memories that will last a lifetime. 🦈💙

Our Girls Residential is already a sell-out, but we still have limited spaces available to join us on Boys Week 2 (17-21 August).
