Elaine Dunstan became something of a prolific poet in the last few years of her life and had an ability to capture the delicate and fragile nature of life in all its fleeting beauty. Having lived with threat of illness from a young age, the preciousness of life was not something Elaine took lightly
or for granted.
Her poetry reflects a diversity of perception and experience. Moments of solitude and mediative reflection, the richness of relational connections and the complexities of human emotion. Above all, it captures the pure and resonant simplicity of love.
Elaine died at the age of 41 from Breast cancer in 2015

I have been enjoying teaching my yoga classes this week@didsburyparsonage while being surrounded by the wonderful new exhibition by Toni Miller. My students have enjoyed the colourful birds, wildlife and flowers. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Didsbury.
