On Saturday it was the Northern Counties cup finals day and we had teams representing in under 11's, 13's, 15's, 17's, 20's and seniors.

A big congratulations to all players who have achieved cup success in all age groups.

Also a big well done to Sien for her under 11's player of the year award, Presley for under 15's player of the year and Damaras for coach of the year award.

Our Manchester RHC Under-15s have just achieved an incredible milestone by finishing 2nd in the National League and earning a spot in the Eurockey Cup in Spain! 🌟 This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these talented young athletes to compete against Europe's best and create unforgettable memories.

We're aiming to raise £12,000 to cover travel, accommodation, entry fees, and team kits so every player can participate, regardless of financial circumstances. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.

Weekend results

Our under 13's were in action in the National League held in Peterborough with the results being:
Manchester 5 - ECU 1
Manchester 11 - Maidstone 1
Manchester 1 - Soham 9
Manchester 4 - Farnham 7

With these results the team finished 3rd

Congratulations to Soham on their win.

This Saturday we have the Northern Counties cup finals held in Middlesbrough.

We have our teams representing in each age group this season which is great achievement for the club.

This weekend our under 13's are in action in the National League held in Peterborough.

The team will be going against the best teams in the country in this age group.

2026 Under 17 Female Goalkeeper of the Year – Harliee Bowden Manchester Roller Hockey Club

Harliee Bowden has been the backbone of Manchester’s success this season, playing a crucial role as they were crowned Under-17 National Champions this June. Her consistency, composure, and reliability between the posts provided the platform for a team that delivered when it mattered most.

Her performances throughout the campaign have also been rewarded with selection for the England Under-17 Female squad ahead of this summer’s European Championships. A deserved recognition of a season defined by maturity, control, and quiet authority in goal.

Harliee operates with a calm efficiency that stands out in high-pressure moments. She doesn’t seek attention, but consistently delivers when her team needs her most—making key saves, organising those in front of her, and maintaining standards throughout every game.

Titles are never given, they are earned—and Harliee, alongside her Manchester teammates, has fully justified the success they’ve achieved this season. A composed and dependable presence, she continues to grow as one of the most promising young goalkeepers in the game.

2026 Coach of the Year – Damaras Gordon - Manchester Roller Hockey Club

Damaras Gordon has been pivotal to the success and growth of Manchester this season, playing a central role across every level of the club. His influence stretches well beyond the senior team—coaching multiple age groups, stepping in to referee where needed, and also leading and playing within the Premier League squad. His commitment to the game is total, and his impact and influence is felt across the entire pathway of the club and his region.

Manchester benefit from a coach with an exceptional appetite and focus to bring the best out of every player, at every stage of development. Damaras continues to set the standard as a leader within the sport, driving both performance and culture with energy, clarity, and consistency. His ability to balance so many roles while maintaining success at the highest level is a testament to his dedication and importance to the game.
