James Curtis Professional’s Day – Everyone Welcome!
James is delighted to invite members, guests and visitors to take part in his Professional’s Day at Withington Golf Club on Friday 11th September.

The day will feature an Individual Stableford competition, with everyone welcome to get involved – whether you have an official handicap or not.

How to Enter
There’s no need for a separate competition booking – simply book your preferred tee time as normal, then check in and pay your competition entry in the Pro Shop on the day.

Members – £10 competition entry
Members’ Guests – £30
Visitors - £40

It promises to be a fantastic day of golf with some great prizes up for grabs, and James would love to see as many members, guests and visitors taking part as possible.

As always, outstanding hospitality from Preston Golf Club for the historic “Duck Match”. The aim is to leave with the “small duck”, sad to report for all at WGC, Preston won the small duck by 398 to 392! A great tradition and social ocasion, just gutted to lose. Course and company outstanding.

The hole in ones are coming thick and fast at the moment at Withington! A huge congratulations to member, Jimmy Barrett for his on Sunday morning on the 10th!

We couldn't be more thrilled for Jimmy and he was buzzing when he arrived back in the clubhouse to celebrate! ⛳😎

Congratulations to our Senior Men’s Mersey League Team. Despite a narrow loss away at northendengolfclub they managed to hold off chorltongolf to win on points difference. This was the first time Withington had entered the league.

Huge thanks to all the organisers, arrangers and players. A superb competition played in great spirit.
