Hip thrusts done right 💪
Busy people don't need more hours in the gym — they need better minutes.
This is what that looks like: controlled tempo, full lockout, glutes doing the work not the lower back.
Move better. Live stronger. That's the whole point.
Training is only one piece though. Get the mindset right, prioritise recovery, fuel the body properly — and the results in the gym take care of themselves.
Small, consistent, quality reps > chasing fatigue.

Practice what you preach...
I'm always telling my clients that the REAL magic doesn't happen during the workout—it happens during recovery.
Training is just the stimulus.
The results come from what you do afterwards.
🥩 Eating enough protein to repair and build muscle.
💧 Staying hydrated so your body can function at its best.
🥝 Getting plenty of micronutrients to support recovery and reduce inflammation.
😴 Prioritising quality sleep.
🧘 Managing stress so your body can actually recover and adapt.
Well... this week it's my turn to take my own advice. 😅
I've picked up a hip injury, so I'm swapping barbells for kiwis, water, good food and a bit more patience while my body heals.
It's a good reminder that recovery isn't something you do when you're injured—it's something you should prioritise all the time if you want long-term fat loss, muscle growth, better performance and good health.
Train hard. Recover harder. 💜💪

Don't let four bad days make you forget four months of progress.
Your inner critic has a terrible memory.
This week, one of my clients shared something that really stood out.
He'd been ill for four days.
❌ Missed the gym. ❌ Cancelled a PT session. ❌ Ate poorly. ❌ Went from 12,000 steps a day to barely 1,000.
By Saturday morning, his inner critic had convinced him he'd failed.
Then he stopped and looked at the bigger picture.
Just six days earlier, at 51 years old, he completed the Manchester 10K in 1 hour 6 minutes.
A man who once couldn't run 1km at school had just finished a 10K.
That's what his inner critic forgot.
We all have bad days.
We all get ill.
We all lose momentum sometimes.
But a few difficult days don't erase months of hard work.
Your progress isn't measured by your worst week.
It's measured by the person you're becoming over time.
Today, ask yourself:
What would your inner cheerleader remind you of?
Feed that voice a little more often today, and let the inner critic go hungry for a change.
👇 What's one achievement you're proud of that you've forgotten to celebrate recently?
