You’re not lazy, you’re just running old patterns. I help people who overthink & never feel ready to actually back themselves.

Moving to Sri Lanka in June 26 🇱🇰✈️

This is a post I wish I didn’t need to make…

But I have a confession.

Emily isn’t real.

I made her up to show you something.

Because the actual quotes are real. From real people.

Someone told me the friendship and trust between us was easy. That I listen. That I know how to get the best out of them.

One of them wrote me a card about it.

Another said they wouldn’t be in the place they’re in now without the support. Not just physically. The other stuff too.

One said their life changed. That they stopped drowning in their own head and actually started using what was in there.

So no, Emily hasn’t paid me anything. Because she was never a client.

But if any of that sounds like where you’re stuck, comment STUCK and I’ll show you how we get you there too.

You can explain your patterns perfectly.

You know why you do the thing. You’ve done the work on the why.

And you’re still doing it.

That’s not a you problem. That’s the actual gap.

Insight tells you what’s happening. It doesn’t change what happens next time.

That bit only comes from doing something different while the pattern’s still live. Not from understanding it better.

If you can explain yourself perfectly and you’re still stuck, that’s not a flaw. That’s exactly what coaching is for.

Comment ‘STUCK’ and I’ll send you the link. Or find it in my bio.

No one claps for this stuff.

You said no and didn’t over-explain yourself.

You sent the text you’d normally leave in drafts.

You didn’t check the mirror on the way out to fire up your inner critic.

None of that gets a reaction. Nobody even notices half of it.

But this is what you need to realise.

Every one of those is a deposit into your Evidence Bank.

Self-trust doesn’t come from the big, dramatic wins.

It never really has.

It comes from a stack of moments exactly like that. Ones nobody else was watching.

And they don’t all need to be successes either.

You don’t build self-trust by telling yourself you’re capable.

You build it by giving yourself evidence that you are.

Doing the thing - regardless of the outcome.

That’s the whole mechanism.

So next time you do one of these and it feels like nothing remember:

It’s not nothing.

Save this as a reminder for the next time you need it.

For years, if you’d asked me, I’d have said I was fine.

I went to work. I trained. I socialised. I functioned. From the outside, nothing looked wrong.

Underneath it I didn’t trust myself, didn’t feel good enough, and was hiding most of it, even from people close to me.

You can be functioning and still be struggling. They’re not opposites.

If you’re fine on the outside and not on the inside, you’re not the only one and you’re exactly who I help.

You missed a gym session.

That’s it. That’s the thing.

But your brain didn’t leave it there.

It turned one missed session into “I’m not disciplined.” Then into “I always let myself down.” Then you go and punish yourself for it next time. Train too hard. Try to make up for something that didn’t need making up for.

And somewhere in all of that, the sessions you did show up for just stopped counting.

As if they magically never even happened.

Swipe through this one properly. It’s the exact loop I see clients running on themselves and it’s worth catching before it runs you.

Because here’s a question you can ask that actually breaks this loop:

Would you say any of that to a mate? If your training partner missed one session, would you tell them they’re undisciplined and can’t stick to anything?

Or would you tell them it’s one session and to get back to it?

One missed session isn’t going to undo months of progress. What would is doing this every week.

And there’s no evidence that’s you.

Save this for the next time that voice starts up.

Comparison isn’t always the problem.

Sometimes it’s showing you something you want.

The problem is when you turn:

“I want what they have”

Into:

“I’m not good enough because I don’t have it.”

That’s when comparison stops being useful and starts beating you up.

Next time you catch yourself comparing, try asking:

What is this person showing me that I actually want?

Then use the answer as information.

Not evidence against yourself.

You don’t need another 12-week plan sitting in your notes app.

You’ve probably already got one.

Swipe through and see what’s actually different this time.

A programme built around you.

Nutrition guidance that isn’t a generic sheet.

And weekly check-ins that catch things early, not just your training, how life’s going too.

£149 for month one, that’s your goal-setting call included, where we get specific on what you actually want.

£99 a month after that, minimum 3 months.

No hidden extras. Just what it says on the tin.

Ready when you are. Link in bio.

You don’t need another morning routine. You need to know why the last five didn’t stick.

For years I told myself it was discipline.

Read the book, listen to the new podcast, download the app, try the new routine, start the new workout programme.

“I’ll start Monday.”

“I’ll wait until I’m ready.”

Turns out that wasn’t ever the problem. There’s a belief sat underneath it and it doesn’t care how good your new plan is.

If this is a loop you know well, you’re not the only one in it.

Message me the word PATTERN and I’ll help you find out what’s actually going on.
