And the winner is….many congratulations to Ben Kershaw for winning the 2026 Captain’s Final. Fantastic performance over the weekend with an aggregate score of 139, five under par. Ben followed a first round 73 with a brilliant nett 66 in the second round. Gross prize was picked-up by Ryan Higginbottom with an aggregate score of 147 over the 36 holes.

The runner up was Ryan Clough on 142 nett, with Mathew Haythorn in 3rd (143) and Nick Melvin 4th (144).

The whole event from start to finish was a huge success and our thanks go to this year’s Captain, Nick Leech, for his amazing hospitality and generosity.

Our juniors were out at the weekend competing for the House of Golf Trophy. One of multiple trophies they play for through out the year.

As an England Golf Junior Hub we continue to develop and expand what we offer our juniors in the way of competitions and other opportunities. The aim is to offer juniors at all levels of the game the chance to learn and compete.
