A quick start from the Didsbury men appeared to put the game to bed inside the first quarter with goals from Doherty and Hoy but back came the young guns from Turn Moss.
The second half was a cagey affair however the blue and white held out.

St. Peter's GAA Manchester 7-19
John Mitchels GAA Liverpool 5-7

The game was played with 13 aside at the request of the men from Liverpool.
The game was nip and tuck until Moore bagged a first half hat trick for the black and amber to extend the half time led to 5-8 2-5. An entertaining game which have 12 goals between the teams, the lads from Hough End winning comfortably in the end.

Liverpool Wolfe Tones GAA 0-5
A tight first half that had the Sale boys ahead 0-6 to 0-3 thanks to some nice free taking my Nic Turkington. Tone’s missed a few chances to get closer in the second half before the only goal of the game was scored by Brendan’s skipper Sean Kelly.

This Sunday at Old Bedians will see 3 cup finals take place.

11am Oisín GAA Manchester v St Lawrence’s GAA Club Manchester
Plate final
Oisin playing at there home venue take on the 2025 winners from Turn Moss. The Didsbury sides form improved as the league progressed teams and narrowly missed out on a place in the shield final. Lawrence’s side will have many young home grown players to complement the more experienced.
Likely to be a very close affair.

12:30 John Mitchels GAA Liverpool v St. Peter's GAA Manchester
Shield final
Both sides lost the league finals in 2025, Mitchels in the Cup and Peter’s Plate and both teams now face off in the shield final. The men from Hough End were the highest scoring team in the league phase but form tailed off towards the end. Mitchels with many Senior players back in recent weeks will be seen as favourites.

2pm Liverpool Wolfe Tones GAA v St Brendan's GAA Manchester
Both clubs won there 2025 final, Tones the shield and Brendan’s will look to retain the cup. Tones topped the table and have been a very consistent team over the last year or more. Brendan’s started the league phase slowly but racked up wins in a row to secure a place in the final. A real 50/50 encounter.

Oisins require at least a draw to make the Shield final, a Tones win sees the Manchester men play in the Plate final instead.

Tones are already in the Cup final.
This is the last league fixture ahead of finals this Sunday at Old Bedians.

3 teams will place each other once and the two who top the table face each other in the final on 25th October at 2pm at our new centre of excellence at Broughton Park Manchester.

However, it is not too late to register your child for either camp! We will be accepting cash walk-ins at both camps at a price of £65.

Please note that cash bookings *will not receive the Cúl Camps Kit*. The kit order has been finalised and we will not be able to get extra kit.
