Tonight we headed over to Hindley for a friendly gala and what a great evening it was.

A massive thank you to Hindley Amateur Swimming Club for hosting us and making it such an enjoyable evening for everyone.

All of our swimmers swam really well tonight and it was great to see them getting stuck in, racing against different swimmers and supporting each other throughout the evening. There were some fantastic swims across the board and plenty for the swimmers to be proud of.

It was brilliant to see so many of our members representing Tyldesley and enjoying their racing.

Thank you again to Hindley for having us and well done to everyone who took part.

Gala Reminder

A reminder that selected swimmers have a team gala away at Hindley tonight.

Meet time is 6:30pm at Hindley.

Please make sure swimmers arrive in plenty of time and have everything they need for the evening.

Normal training sessions at Pelican Centre are CANCELLED tonight for all other swimmers.

Looking forward to our Friendly Gala at Hindley on Thursday.

These galas are a really important part of developing our swimmers, giving them the chance to gain racing experience, build confidence and get used to what it is like competing as part of the team.

We are particularly looking forward to seeing those swimming at their first ever gala. It is a big step for them and hopefully they will really enjoy the experience.

All swimmers who ticked themselves off as available will have received an email with the team sheet and all meeting time information for Thursday.

Please note: Both swimming sessions at the Pelican Centre are cancelled on Thursday due to the gala.

Our next Friendly Gala with Tyldesley Swimming & Water Polo Club is this Thursday. Arrive for 6.30pm at Hindley.

A huge thank you to the Leigh Leopards Foundation for giving our members such a fantastic experience on Friday night!

Our members absolutely loved being out on the pitch as flag holders and being part of such a special occasion. It was a brilliant opportunity for them to experience the atmosphere inside the stadium and create some memories they will never forget.

We have had lots of lovely comments from parents about how much everyone enjoyed it, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone at the Foundation for making it possible.

We look forward to doing it again next season!

Wigan & Tyldesley Starter Meet

What a fantastic weekend for our swimmers at the Wigan & Tyldesley Starter Meet!

There were some great performances across the weekend, with swimmers showing great effort, determination and some fantastic improvements in the pool. It was particularly pleasing to see so many personal bests, with plenty of medals to celebrate too.
